About the BTL Credit Manager role
You will be working in a team that has received industry awards for service excellence (no pressure!). This is something we look for in all applicants and will train you to become even better. Deals come in thick and fast through the day, so you will be busy making things happen from the minute you get in!
You will need strong administration and interpersonal skills, an eye for detail and plenty of drive. Two years’ minimum experience in mortgage credit/underwriting is a requirement.
The role is to underwrite BTL loan applications by reviewing the credit files, liaising with lawyers and valuers, and communicating with brokers and borrowers. Essentially, you will be central to the business right in the heart of getting deals done. You will learn how to underwrite increasingly complex loans from very experienced Credit Managers.
As a career path, we will work with you to become a broad based Credit Manager who can underwrite BTL, Bridging and Refurbishment deals yourself from inception to completion within 2 years of joining.
