#3rdGen lending hits the road in September

With Russia 2018 and the inaugural Octane Capital Cup behind us, the industrious Octane team, spearheaded by my (ahem) good self, will now be hitting the road.
It’s been more than a year since we launched the third generation of lending, and with ever more brokers embracing ‘product-less’ loans around the country, we felt it was high time to get some face time.
While we'll be cementing existing relationships and catching up with our current network of #partners, we're also keen to meet new ones, those who haven't yet tried out #3rdGen lending (shame on you!).
The dates and cities we'll be stopping off in are listed below. Each event will start with an 8:30am breakfast - comprising coffee, tea and a choice of scrumptious hot breakfast rolls - and kick off in earnest at 9am.
The format of the events will be pretty simple, and structured to give brokers an insight into all the key areas of the #3rdGen proposition.
There'll be three round tables, with each round table lasting roughly 25 minutes, after which the speakers will rotate and the next speaker will join your table to start the next session.
We encourage you to ask any questions you have and there will be time during and after the round tables to discuss live cases or anything else you may want to talk about.
The roundtables will cover the following three areas -
1. Developer Exit Lending. Probably the hottest sub-sector in lending right now, this slot on development exit finance will be hosted by Alex Tyrwhitt, Octane's Head of Structured Finance. In recent months, our developer exit loans have evolved significantly to give developers the time to maximise their profits, and minimise their outgoings. Whether developers plan to sell or let the units in their project, we have a solution that can help.
2. The Ordinary and The Extraordinary. This slot will be hosted by yours truly, as Managing Director of Octane. The Ordinary half of this session will focus on our full suite of loans along with Octane's broader lending sweet-spots. The Extraordinary half of the session will drill down into the lending areas where Octane Capital does things that most other lenders won’t, such as Foreign National BTL, borrowers with adverse credit and short completion time-frames.
3. Where Deals Fall Through and What You Can Do To Help. Our third roundtable, hosted by one of our highly experienced Business Development Managers, will outline the most common challenges that arise when underwriting loans. The goal of this slot is to help you, the broker, understand your role in getting deals over the line faster.
Each roadshow will finish at around 10:30, although by all means hang around at the end to ask us any more questions, whether general or deal-specific.
