We do like to be a little different at Octane and winning the ‘Business Product Innovation of the Year’ trophy this week at the industry-respected Business Moneyfacts Awards despite the fact we don't have any products is about as different as it gets.
It's our first award, too, and everyone in our rapidly growing team is over the moon to have won at such a prestigious and highly competed awards ceremony. A big thank you to Business Moneyfacts for putting on a great night.
And while we're on the subject of awards, we're also thrilled to have been shortlisted for the Newcomer of the Year gong at the 'RESI Awards 2018'.
Apparently, there were more entries than ever this year so it's an honour just to have made the cut. Another nerve-wracking night to look forward to in the months ahead.
Above all, these awards are a sign that things are really starting to come together here at Octane. The #3rdGen approach is working better than we could ever have imagined and has gone down a treat with brokers.
It blends the best of the old and new worlds and more and more brokers are starting to see it as their default setting.
We're edging ever closer to our first £250 million of completions and the excellent people we’ve recruited are ensuring we break all the targets we've set ourselves.
Exciting times indeed.
